Mercer IT has outlined details below to help you through the migration process.
You will receive an email notification from Mercer IT when you have been selected to complete the migration. The migration schedule is posted here.
The time necessary to complete the migration will vary depending on your mailbox size.
You may continue to use your email during the migration.
After the migration is complete, you will be required to complete the following steps:
The system will prompt you to enter your username and password. Your username is your full email address and must be entered in the following format with the @mercer.edu suffix: smith_jd@mercer.edu. If you check the Remember my credentials checkbox, you will only have to enter this information once. Otherwise, you will be prompted to enter this information each time you open Outlook.
If Outlook is open when the migration completes, you will be prompted to restart Outlook and enter your username and password.
If Outlook is closed when the migration completes, the next time you open it you will be prompted to enter your username and password.
NOTE: If you have multiple mailboxes, you may be required to enter your username and password multiple times in order to complete the migration.
You will need to remove and re-add your email account on your mobile device(s). Visit the IT website for instructions.
