Mastering the Grade Book Thursday

You should have completed Designing Your Course or be familiar with adding tools and files to a course before attending this course.
In this workshop, you will learn to navigate and tailor the Grade Book to your needs. You will also learn to create columns, modify column settings, enroll students, send mail to students and grant and deny access to the course.  After completing the workshop, you will be able to enter or override grades, view the audit history, and make grades available to students.

 

Word Quick Tips Thursday

You should be familiar with Word 2003 or Word 2007 prior to taking this workshop.
In this hands-on workshop, you will a variety of quick tips to use with Word. These tips work for both Word 2003 and Word 2007. A few of the things you will learn are how to use auto correct to enter text or symbols into your document, how to use shortcut keys to enter text into your document and how to quickly and easily create different types of horizontal line dividers.

You will learn how to maneuver around the Grade Book, add students to your course, add columns to the grade book, move columns around, how to release columns to students, how to add calculated columns and generally how to work with the gradebook.
