Computer Management Software

To better service and support Mercer's computer systems, we have implemented tools to allow us the ability to provide virus protection, software security updates, inventory, software self-service solutions, and more. Select a link below to learn more about our tools.

Computer Management Software
	Cisco Secure Endpoint Cisco Secure Endpoint is a single agent antivirus solution that provides a comprehensive approach to computer security that better protects against modern cyberattacks. Endpoint offers rapid protection, detection, response, and user access coverage to defend against threats. It is currently used on all employee Windows and virtual desktop/thin client systems.
	Jamf Jamf is used to manage Apple computers, including automated software installation, remote support, and configuration management.
	Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly Microsoft SCCM) Endpoint Configuration Manager is used to manage Windows computers, including automatic software installation, remote control, and software patching.
	Windows Virus & Threat Protection (Windows Defender) Windows Virus & threat protection tools are used to protect your device and data from modern cyberattacks. Offered in Windows Security and powered by Microsoft Defender Antivirus, it is currently used on the libraries' general use virtual desktops/thin clients, labs, and teaching stations.
