Mercer IT maintains a network system that allows students to connect to the Internet on all campuses. Many areas (including dorm rooms) are equipped with data ports that allow students to connect to the Internet via an Ethernet cable (available for purchase from Auxiliary Services). In select areas, the Internet is accessible via wireless network.
In order to protect the integrity of the Mercer network, student computers, and university-owned systems, Mercer IT also implements comprehensive network security measures, like mandatory antivirus protection and game console registration.
