All computers connected to the Mercer network are required to have antivirus software installed. This protects both computers and the Mercer network from harmful viruses and worms.
Any student that connects to the Mercer network with a personal computer should equip the machine with up-to-date antivirus software. You can purchase antivirus software at your local office supply or electronics store. However, certain antivirus software downloads are free. For more information, please refer to software download page, under antivirus.
LANDesk AntiVirus is no longer supported. If you still have LANDesk on your computer, please download and run the uninstall utility. The uninstall process is silent and can take up to ten minutes. Once complete, the uninstall process will automatically reboot your machine. You will need to select a new antivirus software to meet university requirements for your computer.
