Virtual Private Network (VPN) access allows faculty and staff to securely access Mercer networks from remote locations. Only current employees of Mercer University may request a VPN account. VPN connections are only to be used from Mercer owned and managed computer systems.

- Faculty and staff must formally request VPN access by submitting page 1 of the following form. Any non-exempt staff member who fills out a time sheet must also complete page 2 of this form:

- Forms should be scanned and submitted via the IT Self-Service Portal.
Note: Allow at least five days for VPN access to be granted, pending approval. Once VPN access is granted, the IT Help Desk will provide instructions for accessing the network remotely.
Installing VPN Software
The Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client software must be installed on your device in order to connect to Mercer's network using VPN. Select your device below for instructions on how to install the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client.
